Hi everyone! I am getting a 45-58 gallon filter..Not sure yet. But I wanted to know which filtration system has worked for you. I want to get whatever is best as to cut down on tons of maintenance. Please..I know there is maintenance..but I know certain equipment can help cut it down...

Does having a sump help with this? I am not sure if I should do a sump or hang on filters?

Do you have a quarantine tank?

Isn't MH lighting for such a small tank not necessary? I don't want to get MH because of the mercury vapors and heat concerns..I would rather avoid them and heard you can if the tank is not too deep. Is this true?
