yea I looked at some of the 70 watt vipers and they are as much as my tank. But I really don't want to get a new tank. So do you think the 70 watts will be way to much for my 8g, unless I have it far from the surface? What light did you choose for your 14g subie?

ok, I just read that this red slime algae is a naturally thing that occurs in all new aquariums. I put some red macro in my refugium so hopefully that will take of the problem by starving the slime. Am I correct?

IMO feather caulerpa. If you like the appearance I would keep it. But it could become a nuissance "weed" and spread everywhere, so you can prune them if desired. They lower nitrates in the water though. You could take it out and put them in your refugium if you have one

yea no fm/am tuner on the ipods. I heard the portable sirius radios are great. I think they make accessories for it like something where you can listen to it through your car speakers. Idk.
