Its My understanding this is where you want the growth to happen, not in the display tank. JMO but if you are worried, take some out so it can grow more. Just keep "harvesting" it and that will help keep nitrates down. I have several mangrove shoots in my sump that I hope to trans plant to my 180G.

Well I am in the process of plumbing my new tank. I had an idea of taking a return from the sump and putting a valve to a hose. The Idea is to use the pressure and flow to blow the left-overs from the rocks before the water changes. This would be used to get in and around the live rock.

Thats about the size of it. I just resealed my new (to me) 180. You just need to use good sharp razors and make sure it is good and clean. I did 2 wet tests after 4 days of cure time.

Well, it might have been a while, so here is an update. First is the stand as of now. I am using a pattern from --. Second is the sump I have in progress. Then finally, is the custom paint job for the back of the tank. I tried to do a textured finish with several shades of blue.
