I have a question about my lights. My bulbs say T-12 on them, what does that mean are they different from normal T-5's or are they the same? I have three 110 watts, they are all coralife bulbs. They are VHO 50/50, 6,500k trichromatic (100% super-daylight), and VHO 10,000k.

I was just wondering how many people have happy clowns in small tanks. There was a debate in another thread about it not being possible. I have a clown in a 10 gallon and it's very happy. It's being qt-ed for at least another week before I put it in the 90 gallon. I like clowns in small tanks...

Coach, I know how to frag the mushrooms. But I'll have to look up how to frag the gsp. How big should the mushrooms get before I start fragging them? I have about 6 that are at least 2" across. Should I frag them now? :thinking: And what kind of hard corals would you suggest?

Salt, let it go!!! I've had clowns in different tanks and they do fine in a 10. All the experts might not agree with it but that doesn't mean that it won't/can't happen. Go over to the nano threads and tell them they can't have a clown in any tank smaller than a 30 gal. and see what they say...

I have had 2 clown fish in a ten gallon tank and had no problems. They swam and where happy.

If you want a nice fish only 10 gal. you could get 2 clowns and a firefish or a jawfish. Then you could have 4-6 hermits and some snails. I think that would be simple but very nice. JMO
