you might want to rethink the crushed coral bed and go with sand. Lots of people don't like it because it traps in a bunch of junk. other than that good luck with the tank.

yes, my aunt and uncle out in Hawaii just did this. The main reason they did this is that chlorine turns my aunts hair funny colors. It's not like saltwater you'd fine in the ocean. it's more like saline solution and it actually feels good on your eyes.

I'm not sure, but I think your going to be told that three fish will be to much for a 14. I'm not expert, so I could very well be wrong, but I think two fish may be a better idea.

After my tank cycled I bought a couple of yellow tail damsels (my wife loved the brightness of the blue and yellow), well one had killed the other one when I came home from work one day. My question is, I am wanting to put in a yellow goby and a cleaner shrimp, will the damsel kill the goby...

most any fish with some color will look good in a tattoo, at least in my opinion. I don't recall seeing any fish tattoos (that were done by a good artist) that I didn't like.

fish will be fine for two weeks. as long as you don't have a lot of evaporation the I wouldn't worry about it. Put the lights on a timer and all should be good. you'll risk more by trying to move it set it back up then move it back again two weeks later.
