dont mean to hijack your thread but just want to continue it further into the iodine drip part. Where can you get Iodine? Is it easy to find localy? Is there any percise measurments, rather than gussing a color? I would just be worried about possibly over dosing and causing coral damage. Anyone...

I would keep a close eye on both him and the coral. If they stay closed and look damaged I do not see any reason not to take the shrimp out.

Well... Just an update. I was not able to add a clean up crew on the weekend. Lets just say im in a bit of a money bind with school and books and car and phone, you all know the deal . Hopefully I can pick some inverts within the next week or worst case scenerio on the 25th at the frag swap...

wow... sounds pretty scary. Good thing you were there to see the flames and do something about it. Have you tried to contact the maker of the powerhead? Maybe they will reimburse you. Its always worth a try. Good luck, the GFI seems like a great way to go.

Did any one whatch this show? It is from the same producers and I believe film makers from planet earth. All I can say is it was amazing. The colors of some of those creatures are indescribable. Its on again Sunday, August 26th at 8 if you missed it. For those who did see it, what did you think?
