I really dont know because I am pretty much in the same boat as you, but I ve been keeping corals in my 10 gallon for a while now and I havent lost one yet. I am building a hood for my 100g long that I'm setting up. Sence I am using 20k mh bulbs I plan on getting 1 10k vho and 1 super actinic...

shoot um up with lemon juice the first day they will just shrivel up and most likely move. Day 2 shoot um up again if needed. and thats it I had a rock that had majano all over it . some died after the first shot but the largest one took 3 shots over 3 days but it worked

I moved my tank into my new house today and switched from CC to a DSB when all was settled my DSB is right at 5 inches in my 10 gal . is that cool? or did I add too much sand?
