Do you still have the same lighting with the hood? Maybe If you don't you could get a hang on protein skimmer that might fit in the filtration system.

stock list for my 24 gal aquapod I really don't want to get hermits because they kill all the snails, but I want to get 2 scarlets though. 12 astrea snails cleaner shrimp emerald crab Also how much nassarias snails should I get. What else do you guys think or change to keep my tank clean?

So this will probably be the setup Sponge filter with dead rock and sand. With some hitching posts. I'm I missing anything else?

I might just buy a 5 gal setup with a hood and lights and just put fake stuff in there or dead rock. Will that be good?
