THANKS so much for the advice!! So far all is great. My parameters have been great and we have been very careful to pick only hardy things. My star actually is a tank raised and my lfs has tons and they have been very hardy for them. So far so good, I also have heard not to get the star yet...

Like anything, you need to take it slow and find out what will be "easy starters" at your lfs or here. there are corals that are hardy that you can start right now and they will do fine. tany was started about 2 months ago...once cycled I have added no more than a fish and a coral or 2 every...

WHAT KIND OF STARFISH DO YOU HAVE?

Farmboy, last week we put in together....featherduster, 2 kinds of mushrooms and a sally lightfoot crab.....this week yesterday we put in a colt coral, cleaner shrimp, small red starfish and a 6 line wrasse. You think it was to much? So far have seen no water parameter changes and will do...

we were told it is fine bio load to do one fish per week and a coral or two....even an invert on top of this...our water conditions have been wonderful so far with no increase in anything....very stable. last night we put in a cleaner shrimp, colt coral, 6line wrasse and a small red star.....90...
