good morning!! I also have a tank that is new, but I just got done cycling, I was told by most to not set up the skimmer during cycle, it is very unnecessary for there is nothing to skim and actually could make your cycle run a little longer. Good luck! I just put my first bit of cleanup crew...

purchased that awesome looking cpr refusium/skimmer for my 90 gallon. was upset when it would not fit with my canopy because could not adjust it far enough (another 1 inch) cause skimmer cup is wide.....hit the wood across the back of the canopy. Just saving someone else here from going...

my hubby really loved the very first one, the one that was real full looking, but likes this new one also....I am the future fishies mama that wants to make sure they all have good space to swim....:notsure:

Ok All, my hubby is about ready to throw me out(just kidding) if we have to move anymore rock!! I kept the left side the same but the right side we made the hole much bigger for tangs. Does this look ok now? honest opinion!!!

I loved the first way but I want to have 2 tangs in this tank, and I thought, I know that once they get quite a bit larger we will have to change tanks, but don't you think this gives them more room for a while? just a thought...

Well, my tank is cycled....LOVED my rockwork but was worried because I thought, I have no real openings for my fish to swim over well, so ugh.....got in and moved a few simple pieces on top...what do you think, does this look ok? Pic is here of old way and then new way....

internet site has where you can order with drain fitting or not...this is not the extra box thing, I am getting that, but a drain fit? just want to make sure all complete when it arrives.

Glad to see this thread. I just had a cpr refusium/skimmer combo that I was excited about until it would not fit on the back of my tank because my canopy was in the way. My canopy has a wood bar across the back, thin strip at the top, but the skimmer part was in the way, the cup of it. I need...

I just had to add some PH buffer to the tank but do it rarely but I was at the end of my cycle so it was at 8.0...now perfect at 8.2....I only add calcium right now but do need to go and get a calcium test...I have been taking the water to the LFS for testing and my calcium was 360, so just...

you bring up a good point. We love our Molly fish, I did not really think of them getting picked on, we were thinking they would love the bigger tank since we like them so much but I guess I will just leave them where they are. thanks!

I HAVE A NEW SETUP WITH A 90GALLON TANK. NEED A GOOD HANG ON SKIMMER. WHAT DO YOU ALL RECOMMEND? I COULD ALSO GET A REFUSIUM UNDERNEATH AND PUT A SKIMMER INTHERE BUT I DON'T KNOW HOW. IS THIS HARD TO DO?
