I have a 30 gal. eclipse tank with a purple tang, flame angel and a baby trigger. I'm plannin got put some LR on it. Would it be better if I also use a canister filter for this tank? Please advise. Thanks

My goby is getting thinner..what are othertypes of food should I feed him?

I was plannin got buy this toadstoll for $75 at my LFS but I noticed that it has a patch of whites mark on the top. I was debating whether to get it or not. Is it dying? The salesperson said that some fish or invert must have touched it. Should i observe and wait? :happyfish

I noticed that my goby is getting thinner. He always sifts the sand and not sure if he's getting enough food. I put some pellets everyday and some frozen shrimp. Do you have any idea what to feed this goby :thinking: ?

I will be gone for 4 days and I was wondering if you guys advise to feed my fish with vacation tablets. I know this is good for fresh water fish but never had experience feeding this to my marine fish. :help:

Four years ago, I had a bad experience with cleaner shrimps. It harrased my torch coral. I'm planning to get one but scraed that it might happen again and destroy my corals . What are your experiences with cleaner shrimps? Is it highly recommended to put it one in a reef tank?

Thanks , Viper Now, my second issue is that my bulbs are 8 months old...red and brown algae are spreading like wildfire....do you think it's time to change the bulbs to new ones? what's thei deal time to change the bulbs, some say it's 6 months, other say it's 9-12 months...please help

How about if I change my 4 pc bulbs from 65 watts to 55 watts each? would that affect my coral growth?
