Thanks... my new hermits seem to be going to town on it for now... as far as plants go I'm thinking Green Gracilaria, Ulva, and a Halimeda plant... i can not get a lot of species do to living in California... I dont have much space in my tank for plants but the back corners have some space...

So Should i not feed flake food any more? if i stop feeding Flake food what should i feed?when i feed mysis i do rinse it with ro water.. My plan is to change out my carbon and purigen and try to blow my rocks off at every water change.. Should i change more water once a week or do two water...

It does look like a Hydnophora but it also looks like horn coral to me, but i see no polyps? sorry the picture is not that great I'm at work and i only have pictures that are on my phone... this was taken 2 weeks ago

I have hair algae growing on one rock in my tank and its starting to grow on the opposite side as well within a large colony of zoos that i cant seem to make go away and its starting to get worse. what am i doing wrong to much light? any and all help is appreciated This tank is 14 months old...

Hi all, I am having a custom frag/ shallow reef tank built. The specks are going to be 24x36x12 so it will be right around 44g if my calculation is correct its going to be similar to the picture below... I want it to be an SPS dominate tank ,my questions are... I have a 250w ReefBright halide...

so my Zoos have not seemed very happy for the last few days... The Heads have been opening and closing randomly...and tonight when i came home from worked they were all closed. then when my moonlights came on i discovered a NewtyBranch, that was on a rock above them. Guess that's what i get for...
