Our 150 gallon tank has been running since January and we'd really like to get a diamond back goby. Our rock work is all placed on top of the sand now, should we move it all down to the glass to avoid rockslides or will they be fine? Also will the goby be fine in a quarantine with no sand?

Ive added a diamond goby to a 50 g tank with 2 small yellow fin damsels, and a purple dottyback. Was told and read theyd be simpatico. Appears not. Goby is scared. Will this get better? What if I add an equalizer - something larger than the purple?

Hi, I don't think your problem is overstocking...You do have compatibility problems. The YT damsel is too aggressive to remain with the dottyback or cardinal...it will eventually kill them off.
