true enough. I have mine on the top of my reef under T-5's where the water just gently sways the tentacles slowly. I have a pink and am imperial green and both are forming new pods. I never directly feed my spawns.

I disagree. If you get constant waste (skimmate) then you have a severe problem in the tank, i.e. overfeeding, overstocking.
