    are the rumors true?

I have a pair that I've had for almost 3 years. She's about 4 times his size (mass) and he is very subordinate to her. So, a perfect marriage. Anyway, she doesn't seem to mind the other fish at all since they're not clowns. She likes to 'dig' (fluff the sand), but that's about as aggressive...

    Sweatervests tank update

All three are good looking fish! My favorites! Yes, a background would keep those distracting mechanics hidden. I took the background off the back of my tank once the algae had covered the back. I like the natural background better. And, yes, coraline algae is good (well, a good sign the...

    I want a Dwarf Angel

What size is your tank (just to be certain it's large enough)? I would say no more than one. My CB is so cool, but I've heard Flames are cool, too.

Questions about a Dwarf Coral Beauty!

I have seen books that state 30g is minimum for a dwarf angel, but I know my CB is very active. I have a lot of rock and she loves darting through the rock. One may be ok in a 30g, but I think they need a lot of rock and I don't know what you plan on putting in there. They are beautiful fish...

    New Fish Ideas

I have a coral beauty that I've had for about 4 years. She's great and very pretty. She's very friendly, but I think it's because she has a lot of rockwork in the tank. Make sure you have room for her to wind around the rocks. I also love my scarlet hawk. What a cool fish.

Anyone run their Biocube without the plastic light protector?

I've noticed that the clear plastic cover between the lights and the water has turned a little yellow. Anyone run their Biocube without it? Or, has anyone replaced it with something else?

    In-Tank Protein Skimmers

I also have little clearance on the back of my tank and use the CPR Aquatic's Bak-Pak2 skimmer and like it. I'm using it on a 75g. Good luck!

Stocking Suggestion for a 14g Biocube...

Quote: Ecooper, can you give us a close up of those different macro algaes (plants) you have in there, I have a feeling one is a bad one. oh, I'll bet you're referring to what I think is Caulerpa. Yes, it's a nuisance, but it's started to die off. I think it happened because of the maroons...

Stocking Suggestion for a 14g Biocube...

Hello, everyone. Here's an update after cleaning the tank a bit more, putting in a chemi-pure packet, and getting two clowns. FT Shot Close up of the clowns - not a good picture.

    Lighting

I have a 48" Coralife Aqualight Pro on my 75g that works great. It has actinics, two 150w halides, and moon lights. Great system. Here's a link with my tank (there's a full tank shot in it) to show what it looks like with it...

    Can anyone ID?

Thank you all! Yes, they are everywhere! I don't have much in there except for some GSP and muchrooms, so they haven't been a problem. I just don't ever remember putting them in there! It's really amazing what can develop over time. Thanks!

Thank you! I wasn't certain which place to post it. I commented on the other.

    Can anyone ID?

I posted this in the coral section, but thought I would post here. I have these polyps in my 14g. I don't know if they're good, bad, or it doesn't matter. They're really small 'flowers' or stars. Deep red, brown, purplish and white in the middle. Sorry, not the best picture...
