i checked the pars again,nitrate 5ppm the algea you see in the pic i think is caused from sun light my tank is in my basement this time of year the sun hits it for about an hour but that is gone now(winter months)i do agree with rhe crushed coral going to try to move him to rock thanks again.

my anomone was doing well when i first put him in the tank.now he is not looking so good.55 gal all pars .ok 500 watts mh lighting 2 power heads 20 gal sump.any suggestions?

i keep my sump return about an inch into the tank so i dont have to worry about overflowing in the sump if i lose power.but i think it should go down deeper any sugestions.

i am having the same problem,what kind of pump and does it conect to the air line on top of the overflow

has anyone had the problem of their over flow slowing down due to the air hose on the top geting stopped?

how big is yourtank ,you can double the size,with a sump. water volume.canisters are not the best choise for our hobby
