    Im not sure but now the only thing left of him is an empty shell with no spikes. he is completly hollow. Crazy. and my cleaner shrimp completly disapperred. I only have a lemon peal angle, marroon clown, a chromis and a small damsel that hides. I wonder what happended to him.

    everything is good. zero nitrate, nitrite, ammonia, ph is 8.2 with about 450-500 calcium. 78 degrees, 1.025 salt. I do have an algea problem. I also have a small purple urchin that is doing just fine. the tuxedo was moving all around the tank for a week then slowly lost all its spines.

    I just tested some tropic marin pro. Ph was low. 7.8 Ammonia 0 Nitrite 0 Nitrate 0 Calciam at 380-400 ' That is all the test equipment I have. I left the salt gravity low at 1.022 at room tempeture with ro water.

    update. my tuxedo urchin has lost all his spines and is hiding in a corner all [hr] . I don't think he can move since it seems he moved by using his spines. :mad:

    if the clown has not fully changed to a female and male pair then they will fight until the smaller one or is it the larger one turns gender. Coral magazine had an article that the dominant female died and the largest male took some time before it morphed to a female.

    I got a large rose bta and my marroon clown took some time to get in. About a day. He had white spots on his face and you could tell he was gettn stung at first but he moved in over nite. My other anemones were just to small.

    ya it's true. I had a brand new 40g tank with 36 gallons of water. After adding 50lbs of sand I still had left over water. I figure there is about 32 gallons of water in my 40 gallon tank.

    Dude, get emerald crabs. They are the best. They eat bubble algea like it's a the best thing since sliced bread,., But they don't eat the red (cotton) like algae.

    I didn't get stuck. It is I saw spines laying on the sand bed. All my watere is good except I have not been able to find a phosphate kit. He looks good. Travels everywhere. Oh well. Thanx.

    Urchin eating my coralline

    sorry to hear that. I got a tuxedo urchin and some purple spine urchin. My tuxedo sheded some spines recently. Have u ever noticed this. Is it bad.
