This thing seems to be growing on a piece of live rock that I got last week. Its small and I took the best pics that I know how.

corals would be real nice. but, you know, I've spent alot already and just don't know if I want to buy the lighting required for good coral. Just have to see. This tank is now one month old.

Not real sure right now. I like Triggers and Lions. Coral would be nice too. I used to like watching my mother feeding her Triggers and Lions in a 300 gal tank about 25 years ago. This hobby sure has changed. I feel like I don't know what I'm doing.

Why do turbo snails hang out at the top of the tank, right at the water line?

I got the same stuff as you did. Maybe we are too impatient with wanting to stuff. I'm going to wait afew days and see what happens. If nothing then SWF will hear from me.

Southdown sand is not available in Oklahoma. Is there an alternative?
