i have yellow tang, hippo tang, purple tang, blueface angel juv, 2 clowns, eibli angel, sixline wrasse, 6 chromis for my 125g. the key is to QT the tangs at the same time.

the only reason that fish will get ich from stress is.............your tank has ich. here's what i did. i put all my fishes in qt and treated with copper. let my DT fallow for 6 weeks. it gave me the peace of mind that no matter how stress they are, they won't ever get ich. it worked fine for me

i used to have triggers in my 125g fowlr. i changed to colorful and active fish for the same reason :) now i have hippo, purple, yellow tang. blueface angel juv. 2 clowns. firefish

3" yellow tang 3" purple tang 3" blue hippo tang 3" blueface angel juv [hr] 2 cleaner shrimps 2 hermit crabs [hr] 4 in QT 2" ocellaris clown 1.5" ocellaris clown 2" firefish 2" flame angel [hr] that's it, after i put those 4 fishes from QT, i will not add anymore. btw, it's FOWLR...

i bought him on sat, and he only ate 2 small pellets and stopped eating. but the thing is he sleeps on the top coner of the tank. like he needs more air or something. it's a sick behavior to me. so here is the video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LzVKn7J7AsY what can i do to help him?

thanks for the quick reply. i am using coppersafe from mardel. i am using maracyn because they got body fungus. most likely it's cost by the copper. my water quility is good, i do 10% water change every other day to keep it up. the thing is why only the hippo does that? and the yellow & purple...

i am treating my 3 tangs in QT with copper. and i've been using Maracyn for 6 days already. but my hippo tang won't stop straching his body with my heater or the pvc pipe. i have no idea why he won't stop. because my other 2 tangs yellow and purple never straching their body against the heater...
