    using sand, but put cc in tupperware on tank bottom for frags. ugly, but it only takes a week for them to grab a gravel.

    could do, but some are growing on corallums so this would be a temporary fix.

    manual removal is very difficult. when i try, the worm receeds into its tube, when i rip off tube it cracks and thousands of little bits fly into the tank, and it seems this aids in their reproduction.

    are arrow crabs nocturnal? can they be removed? my fish are expendible for the sake of my corals. actually i still have a damsel in there from the birth of my tank in '96. i would prefer to see it dead!

    behavior is typical. the fish is making a nest for itself. when finished will look like indentation in sand and the fish will hover there and protect his territory.

    they are pink, somewhat wide and quite bristley,white bristles. in the middle of the worm it is dark.

    i've had an infestation of bristled worms for about six months now. I don't know how to get rid of them. they are nocturnal and abundant, should i worry? all of my corals seem healthy and growing.
