I'm building a sump and I need a return pump. I have a dual U tube overflow with 2 1" outlets (1200 GPH) and would need a comparable pump. There will be about 4' of head. I think this means I need something like a Mag 12. I would be willing to buy one that is rated for more than 1200 GPH at 4'...

If you part out I might be interested in the return pump.

I also have the air water ice model discussed above. A big selling point for me was the customer service. They are very responsive to all questions.

Get some Chaeto, I had high nitrates (40+) and within a week or two of putting a ball of chaeto (purchased on here for $15) in my tank they were down to almost zero. If you don't have a fuge there are some posts on here about keeping it in your display tank.

Not sure how that would work with shipping since you are in South Carolina.
