    Live rock and live sand are a part of the overall biological fintration system in the tank. Without them you can probably have a successful tank but you will need some really good filtration. Aside from the filtration aspect they also provide a natural food source.

    I found a odd worm haning out in my small Xenia frag today, the coral was looking kinds PO'ed that it was there... So I pulled the piece out and removed the worm. I would just like to know what kind of worm it is. The picture may look like a bristle worm but I promise you it's not, I know them...

    New Oceanic Nano Protein Skimmer

    I have the BioCube skimmer in my 14 and I have been getting nothing but water for 2 weeks now. I even adjusted the bubbles to be at the top of the black collar and nothing.... So I rinsed the whole thing down last night with warm water and re-installed it. This morning I am seeing more foam...
