Well my new MH 175watt w/15k is in and running so the buggers...
My BTA did fine under 190watt PC's when I bought it it was small and bleached and after 3 months its a little bigger and a light brown color and I never have fed it directly. I now have 175 watt MH w/15k bulb so it should do even better. Now if only my Maroons would just start hosting.

Would this be too much light/heat for a 30 gallon reef tank w/anenomes?
METAL HALIDE 400 watt MH AQUARIUM LIGHT 14K 14000K
The ballast is rated for 400 watts, I do have fans on my current PC hood that this would be (not the ballast)mounted into.
What are the differences in Metal Halide lamps I'm looking at 250w, but they give a choice in 10k, 14k or 20k bulbs what are the differences and what are they used in as far as fish, reef etc.
Are you kidding, I have a pink tip Haitian that just recently split, 3 curly Q's, a rock and a little bta in a 30 gal reef tank. I have 195w PC's and they're doing fine(this site list most anemoes as reef safe) I just fragged my hammer, frogspawn and pulsing xenia corals and I'm fragging my pom...
I think my Zoas have zoa eating nudibranchs, I fw dipped the one colony that was affected and a lot of the (dead) polyps fell off and the whole colony came loose from the lr it was on. I could see the little critters swimming around in the fw. The problem I could have is I have a lot of zoas and...
Dozer, what type lighting does the tank come with? Sump, skimmer, etc?
Drop me a line, I'm in Bolingbroke.
Do you have other tanks, or just selling this one, salt or fresh water?
They are independent owned stores they are not all the same. The one in Alparetta is the only one I found that has nice frags at the right price. The one in Deluth(sp) isn't as nice.
Another place to get nice frags is Petland in Alpharetta. I bought some 2 zoas the other day (Monday) they were on a small rock with over 30 pods on each rock for $19.97 each. They have a large selection of softies and hards for the same price.

I read earlier where you were having noise problems and someone responded with a mod. I have a Skilter 400 on my 30 and I also couldn’t stand the noise. I made the mod the other person wrote about, but I didn’t go through the collection cup. I went beside the intake tube with a hose and drilled...
