WOW! excellent article ReefNut. Thank that really cleared things up for me. Now I have a much better understanding of Calcium Reactors. Sounds like some work to get it set up, but once it is going it sound easy to maintain.:)

I would not think it to be an issue as long as the fish were feed. I think the Trigger fish will try to eat urchin's but I am not sure.

While we are all talking about Calcium reactors, it seems like I always see fittings on them for the hook up of C02 systems. Do you have to run a C02 system if you are running a Calcium reactor?, and do you need a controller to run a calcium reator? I am very interested in them but kind of...

I have a Rock Boring Urchin and he has been fine so far. He moves all over the tank from the reef to the glass and eats alge. He is very interesting to look at, but will sometimes will knock things over on the reef, but it's not too bad. I like mine :D

Here is a picture of it growing around my Goniporia and Feather Duster. I have only had to trim it once in 6 months.

I have had it in my main display now for about 6month and have not had any issues with it at all. I actually like the look of it. The fish do not bother it, and it does not really grow that fast.:D
