when do u know if your water has cycled? 3 weeks? what do you test for? when can i put in a mandarin goby ? its been like almost 2 weeks now. i have 30 lbs. of live rock to assist the cycle.

i have aragonite in my tank and didnt wash it is that really bad for your tank? will the fine sand eventually get sucked out by the filter?

i put in 2 bags of aragonite and forgot to wash it out.its been a week now and the cloudyness is gone but when i put in some crabs and shrimp they started to dig around like crazy and made another dust storm what can i do besides clean out the filter?
