What would be the best Urchin to get for algae control for my reef tank?

I am running a metal halide lamp 150w 1400k thinking about Led lighting not sure if to change over and if so what brand or model and would two lamps at 1000k each be okay

would the drip method for one hour be okay for soft/hard coral's?

I have had my Coral Banded Shrimp since Jan 07 and it hads molted 11 times since then. We it stop molting when full grown?
