    I agree with kmart too. I started out slow as well. Then as the algea and stuff started to grow I adding more clean up crew. I also agree that the blue legs can be i bit destructive. I have red legs and turbos which do a great job in my 40 gal. tank. Good luck.

    I was having a probelm with a skim on the surface of the water. I'm using a bak pak skimmer on a 40 gal. tank that does have alot of bio load. I was running carbon 24/7 in the fuval 303. My lfs suggested I replace the carbon with new carbon on my next water change and run that for about 3 days...

    They are more of a flesh color or pale pink.They take off and swim when scraped off the front glass. My lfs tells me that are o:k as long as they don't over take the tank...... Well thanks for that brain storming theory !!!

    It too happen to me. I beleive it was do to the nitrates building up. It never really did stop, just slowed down. I finally removed all the sand and now have no sand at all. I find that it is easy to clean and do water changes. I have 0 nitrates and nitrites and have coralline algae growing all...
