I have a skilter filter on my 20gal reef and it has a crack in it with a small drip down the back of the tank.If I get a new one do i need to put the old filters in the new one or just leave the new filters in. Did not want to start a cycle. It has 25lbs lr and 45 lbs of ls. Thanks

well i think the shark may be dead. I have not seen him move for 1 1/2 weeks. Don't know what happen but does not look good. Before he was active alot. Wait alittle longer before he gets tossed. :(

Would water from a tap with a water softener be good or bad for a aquarium? The whole house has the softener on it.
