Today on my way home from work I stopped by Pet-o-rama on cooper and 287 in Arlington (Mansfield technically.) They don't have a huge coral selection but they have some very nicely set up tanks, and the guy that runs the fish dept. knows his junk! There fish were fairly priced with some being...

    Disapearing Mushrooms

I had 2 green mushrooms in my tank on a rock and now I cant find them anywhere! I have a 10 gallon with 1 small clown, 1 yellow tail, a royal gramma and a cleaner shrimp. The only thing that I noticed diffrent about it was that it was flairing up in the current.

When did Montery Bay get a white?

The reason they die is because they keep them in metal tanks which messes with their sences.

When did Montery Bay get a white?

I was just surfing and I ran across The Monterey Bay Aquarium’s inhabitant list . Did you know that they have a white shark, an oceanic white tip and broad nose 7 gill? If they really have what they say they have I am getting the next flight to Monterey Bay!!!!!!!

    Growing or Dying?

I have a small brain I bought about 3-4 weeks ago. The first night it was in it started to bleach out a little but stopped. No there is a little brown and neon green growth on the top of the brain, is this the coral growing or some kind of parasite? The coral is in a 10 gallon with a penguin...

    Your thoughts/comments on a 1G nano tank

Did you put in a 50/50 bulb or does it even need it with 13 watts per gallon, also no water changes just top offs? Rock and sand take care of the trite problem or just nothing to make um?

I am the youngest person (turned 18 yesterday) that I know of that is very seriously into this hobby. By very seriously into it I mean I have had 3 tanks (120 aggressive, 10 reef, 10 FOWLR) since I was 16. I know some of my friends have 10 gallon "nemo" tanks that their parents take care of...

    Could it be?

Here is an article I pulled off aol. I think that it is just a decomposed giant squid but then again it could be a new species. What do you think? SANTIAGO, Chile (July 2) - Scientists said on Wednesday a huge mass of slimy flesh that washed up on a Chilean beach last week may be a rare type of...
