I had a coral fall on my sand sifting star fish. His arm got cut off. will the part of the arm grow to be a new star fish and will the old one 'starfish" grow his arm back. thanks

yes the will usually come out at night time. They are usually in the sand most of the time. It's cool when they do come up. Because it looks like nothings in the sand bed and then out of no where. A starfish comes up
