hey seaweed overstocking your tank is not a healthy thing to do....we all wish we could load them up but we cant.....you shouldnt lie about the size of your tank and your profile...just be honest and do the best thing for the fish........

I currently have a 300 gal reef tank now..Im moving into a new house and wanted to hear some opinions out there..Im gonna purchase a 12' wide tank..approx 500-600 gallons(viewed from both sides)...Im gonna use my 300 gal tank that i have now for my refugium in the basement...Before i purchase...

im probably into this tank about $15,000-$20,000---but not even close to being done...have to get a chiller, calcium reator still and of course just filling the tank with life is expensive...but it is a hobby so its fun to do a little at a time...if it was all done at once it wouldnt be as much...

Ive been trying to raise my magnesium level for about 2 weeks now and it dosent seem like its coming up...Been using Salifert and Tech M...Is there something that could be counter-acting and not allowing my levels to go up.. Or should I just do a large water change to bring up the level...Thanks...
