yamaha16- I have this exact light (for right now anyway), and when just the Actinic are on the one bulb will look blue, the other one will have a faint purple looking color. Hope that helps. :)

I'm not one to get into the logic of all that because I don't understand exactly. I do know that houses that are located near saltwater must use special paints, fixtures, and such because of the salt air. I would guess it’s the same principle. :thinking:

Thanks Terry B, I would think my Refractometer is accurate. Its the same kind they sell on SWF and I make sure its calibrated. So you would try the antibiotic first and then back to 1.009 and if he reacts in the same manner then raise SG and use copper? I'm almost afraid to try lowering back...
