CC is fine. Each person has their own prference. As long as you vacuume it when you do water chnges the CC will be great. I have CC in my 110 and will transfer it to the 250 as soon as I get the stand built for the new tank. Just read up on substrates and you make the decision. Rik

CC because thats what's in my 110 right now. I don't want bare bottom, don't like the look. Don't want sand as I want to have megga flow rates inside the tank. I will rinse the cc in the move and add more. Just my choice, unless someone can convince me to go another way.

Thanks Mark. It will be a few weeks before I can do the move. Still got a lot going on with the 1200 sq feet we just added to the house. I don't have the stones to ask the wife if I can set up the tank before I tile the bathroom!

Awsome. Kids are amazing, cost more than than therapy, but do a better job at keeping you sane.

Many people have lost lots of their SPS to this rapid depletion of PO4. SPS need at least .15 according to the new TUNZE PO4 removal media to live. I just converted mine to a carbon bed as in just a month I have lost 3 SPS and have several bleaching right now. I think these things work if...
