My sixth month old tank is growing a cotton like substance on almost everything like mold. I don't know if this is good, bad, normal? After a water change the Nitrate is kinda high. Please help!!

I have had good luck with both the liquid stuff to kill aptasia and I now have 2 pepermint shimp that took care of all what I had in a week. They are funny to watch than the liquid medicine. :-)

I totally agree with the use of a isolation tank. An outbreak of Ich cost me 75% of my live stock - my first experience with Ich.

Has anyone got a Clown to host a fake (plastic) anenome? I don't have enough light for a real one and will probably try a mushroom but I was just wondering how others felt about this possible technique?

They do look like that. Thanks I will do some more studying on Limpets. I don't have any coral. Any other suggestions on containment or should I not be concerned?

My 10 gal tank is about a month old with about 7 lbs of live rock. About two weeks ago I spotted the green thing in the picture slowly moving around the rocks. I am concerned about the proliferation as there are now 7 that I can see. I do not know what they are or if they are good or bad...
