get a lil container and mix the food and garlic and leave it in fridge. I mix about a 1 week supply everytime. If they have ich then you should feed them 2 or 3 times a day with garlic.

My Ich Killer 2000 - Please read!

Geez, all I was trying to say is that a UV is not going to get rid of ich. I never said UVs dont work....of course they do. But once again ich is ALWAYS gonna be there and outbreak if conditions permit it to. Also I dont understand why you guys are quoting websites trying to prove to me that...

My Ich Killer 2000 - Please read!

Garlic has Allicin in it and it boosts the immune sytem like steroids. In return when a fish has a normal functioning immune sys it fights off ich byitself.

My Ich Killer 2000 - Please read!

you haveto think...every white dot that you see on the fish falls to the bottom and turns into 200 -500 free swimming anemotopes. if your fish has lets say 10 dots on it when they reproduce do the math. UV is waste of power for ich. But good luck and hope your livestock stays live :D

    ICH!!!! Not again

Keep the temp STEADY and dont do any changes to tank like moving rock or adding new fish for a lil while until everyone settles down. They still have ich that you cant see, but their immune sys is fighting it off before it turns into the egg sacks that appear as white spots on the fish. Just...

    Blue tang

He is stressed in return his immune sys weakened and ich was able to thrive on it. Best thing to do is make sure temp is steady and dose it with alicin (in garlic) to help there immune sys and let it fight it off naturally. If you put in QT it will get stressed again and ich will re-apear...

    ICH!!!! Not again

    lol..typo......*shocking
  18. biggie18

    ICH!!!! Not again

ich is always there....you can't "kick" it. You just need to stop schocking to fish from QT's to show and back n forth. Once they get comfortable with STEADY temp their immune sys will fight them off like normal. How do you think they deal with it in the ocean.....they dont got no "kick-ich"...

    blue tang problem

garlic has a chem called alicin in it and it basically is "steriods' for the immune system. Even if you dont't have ich or disease is not a bad idea to feed them some just to prevent more outbreaks:D
