I have had that problem once with a mandarin but I only floated him for about 20 minutes and let him go in the tank and he did fine.. maybe you might want to speed up the process if you see that again.

I feed my clowns tetramin pro in the blue can with a yellow top. I also use this for my freshwater.. does not say if its for fresh or salt but they both like them and been living on them for over a year now.

tank is looking nice!.. powerhead reply.. keeps the top of your water clean, the powerhead makes movement on the top of your water which sends any film or anything floating on the top of your water to the bottom or pushes it underwater which then your filter can pick it up and keep your tank...

If your setting up a fresh water tank I'd go with tap water and I would still use tap water if you only plan on only putting in clown fish or damsels but if your going to go with a reef tank I would try to go with RO unless your water TDS shows under 250
