keep in mind that as the size of the tank you want gets bigger, everything else gets more expensive: filtration is more expensive, skimmers cost more, you need more sand, more rock, everything gets more expensive, thats kind of the issue im dealing with right now

What kind of filtration and protein skimmer would you suggest for a 150g? im assuming you need some kind of sump. im new to this. any help would be great, thx.

I'm going to be purchasing my first swf tank this weekend. I barely have enought to get a basic set up so i'm figuring out what to do for a stand. do you think it would be alright to hold it up with some cinderblock with a flat wood board on the bottom and top of the blocks then the tank on...

Hey All, Im looking to buy my first tank. I was told that acrylic was better than glass but I dont know the difference only that glass is a lot cheaper . Does anyone know a reputable place online that sells good tanks at pretty decent prices. I'm thinkin about an 80 gallon. :confused:
