    What is my mushroom doing

Just about to go to bed and walked by my tank and noticed this. Just my moonlights are on and this "string" caught my eye blowing around in the current. Anyone have any idea what is going on?

    ID Please Majano???

Best picture I could get. I have been trying to kill these things with Joe's juice but they seem to keep coming back. This one just appeared out of nowhere next to one that I got with Joe's juice a few days ago (you can see the shriveled stem up and to the right).

    ID This snail

I remember reading about these on a thread a while ago but since than I cannot find it. Anyways I have 2 of these like the one in the picture and one that looks the same but it is brown instead of black. I remember reading that they only come out at night but I see them quite a bit when the...

    watchman goby pistol shrimp

Yeah from what I have been told it is best to go with a Randalli as well. My LFS had a larger shrimp im not sure what kind it was but he really wasnt colorful at all. I chose a fairly small yellow watchman because of my tank size (14 gallon biocube) I'm just going to wait untill the store has...

    Can this be ICH?

Well here it is a little over a week later and my goby is still doing great. I did however read somewhere that yellow watchmans have a thicker than normal mucus layer or something like that which makes it harder for the ich parasite to make its way into the fish's skin. Anyways I'm going to...

    watchman goby pistol shrimp

Thanks for the responses. I never heard of a watchman eating a pistol shrimp so thanks for informing me. i was about to buy a pistol shrimp last week but didn't because he was too small. Now I know for sure to wait until my LFS gets a decent size one.

    watchman goby pistol shrimp

So i have had a yellow watchman goby for about 3 weeks now and I want to get a pistol shrimp with hopes that they will pair up. My question is is there any type of "homemade" burrow I could bury in the sand with hopes that they will use it? I had an idea of using PVC to make an under gravel...

What is this on my frag

I wish I could get a better picture of it. It almost resembles a brain as in it is made up of a bunch of squiggley lines kinda reminds me of what snail eggs look like on the glass.

What is this on my frag

The other day I bought 2 small frags one being a mushroom. Anyways after I placed them in my tank, the mushroom kinda lifted up a bit from the water flow and noticed this white thing underneath it. Any ideas what this is? Doesn't look like part of the mushroom but I could be wrong I'm still...

    Can this be ICH?

Thanks for your response. I think I will go with a hypo treatment first. Being that as of right now the goby is my only fish, when he is in QT can i add more coral to my display tank? As i understand it ich only lives off of fish correct? And being "fishless" for 8 weeks seems to be the...

    Can this be ICH?

Beth, No this was not a new fish. I have had him in there for at least a month. The yellow goby has been in there for about 12 days as he was my last addition.

    Can this be ICH?

I woke up this morning to find him dead. My goby however still shows no signs. I am going to have to try and get him out of the tank somehow today and set up a QT of some sort. If i were to treat the QT with copper, how to you transfer the fish back into the main tank without bringing any...

    Can this be ICH?

Does ich just "drop off" the fish completely like that within a few hours? I have had ich in the past and have never seen it disappear completely in a couple hours. I'm not saying your wrong just wasn't aware that can happen.

    Can this be ICH?

Forgot to mention it is a 14 gallon biocube. Just the perc and a yellow watchman goby with a few hermits and snails. Nothing added in the past week. Yellow watchman looks fine with no visible spots at all
