I have never seen it before. I would not put it in the mantis tank simply because some things release deadly toxins when attacked. My experience is the less defenses visable the more likely they will wipe out your tank.

I can look at my tanks and just count the money when I'm in the mood to brag. Trouble is there is no one to brag to. My friends now think I'm eccentric. Because I raise corals? So... I hate that!!!

Get that stuff out now because it will completely take over your tank. It will grow into onto and over your corals, rocks, anything that doesn't move. It is outlawed in a lot of states. I had to break down a tank because of it. Nasty stuff. Looks nice starting out though. It doesn't go sexual...

I read that some distilled water is distilled from copper pipes. If yours is it is only a matter of time before you wipe out a great deal of life in your tank. Starting with your invertibrates.
