The tank I have is going through A cycle ,it is about half way through it. My skimmer has all of a sudden gone from producing about a cup of skimmer fluid every 2 days to filling up in about 2 hours.anyone know what is up?

sounds like something is caught in the impellar or in the recess the shaft sits in in the motor housing .Noise is not good take it apart and check it out

Mine has done that to me a few times before what i did to remedy the situation was fill it with tank water before I reconnected it and turned it back on. You might also want to check and make sure your impellar(sp) is not bound or restricted.
