so i got this new protein skimmer its a sea clone 100. and i have not been able to get it to work i have tried all i can. was just wonderin if anyone has one of these and if there are any tricks to usein them.

okay i had three tanks and i moved to a new house. so i have combined my three tanks in to one tank. so my 35 hex has about 100 lbs of rock. but damn it looks good but is that to much any help would be great Thanks, Clay

this tank has been up and going for about 5 months. I have about 20LR and a maxi 600 powerhead in there okay lets see i tested my water last night and my lvls were. Nitrite 0 Ammonia 0 ph 8.2 nitrates 10 ppm salinity 1.024 Thanks FF

hey does anyone if there is a good low light hosting anemone. i would like to find one for my clowns. they are in my 29g eclipse tank with a reefsun 50/50 and coral sun actinic 420 both 24" any help would be great thanks

Hey i got this LTA about a week ago and the second day we got it died off then regenerated and then he ate. But now he has died off and not regenerated but i think he is alive so should i wait to see if he lives or is he a gonner Ammonia 0.0 nitrite 0.0 ph 8.1 nitrate 12.5ppm

Update:: Ok, so we might have overreacted. it really did look as though it was close to death, a tiny shrivel of itself...in about 20 mins time it came fully back to life- color and thickness returned to its tentacles. It was the weirdest thing ever, so now that we know it didn't die, still...

Hi all, Had a quick question, I did a water change in my 29 Gal. and the arms of my long tentacle anemone shriveled up into a greenish death. Anyone heard of this? It happened so fast

wow thanks for the the info. i have had no problem with my nitrites. so i bet my problem is over feeding them. i have a powerhead in my 29g and my 35 would it be okay to put one in my 12g?
