    anyone had any experience with blue tangs

    Thank You...Very mush appreciate your advise. Its often times very difficult t fight impulse. I saw a small blue tang for $20 earlier and wanted to buy it. Very hard to walk out w/o buying the tang. But wanted to make sure I do my research first b4 buying another fish. Thanks

    thanks.. Had a really bad experience with a Powder blue last year. My LFS got the best of me. Thats Y I am a bit more cautious now. What about orange spotted goby? They are sand sifter I believe. Are they hard to maintain?

    Thanks for the reply....I have a 46G Bowfront tank. My water param are good. I have a bubble coral, frogspawn, mushrooms, colt corals, zoos, fire clown, bar goby, lawnmower goby, snail, hermit crabs. I feed my fishes spectrum pellets.

    speaking of lighting, I have seen on this website the requirements for certain corals are medium to strong lighting. What exactly does that mean? How much? for instance i have a 46G tank and I have 2 97W PC light. Is this considered small? Sorry for sideswaping the tread.

    Confused about anemone and reef

    Thank you for the good advises. One of the thing I am concerned about is lighting. I have 2 97W. PC. Is this enough to support an anemone? Instead of anemone, what about frogspawn? Whish is a better match for my tank, 47G. BTW, has anyone heard of a clown using a frogspawn like an anemone?

    Getting mix reaction about anemone. I wantto get an anemone for my clown but heard horror stories about them. I am favoring the Red Bubble anemone for they are hardy. But heard that they may harm corals. Any advised to this confused hobbyist :help:
