What would be the easiest way to fill a 120 with salt water? Should I make it in buckets or could I just fill the tank with RO/DI water and then add the salt? Nothing in tank yet. Thought I could get it full and then just use the pumps to mix it. :help: Clammer

In my DIY ref. I just used a straight peice of glass for my baffle and it works great! Your friendly aquarium manufact. do it to justify their HIGH PRICES!!!! Ha Ha!! Nice to have but,not really needed.

most people say ditch the bio balls but, Ive had them in my sump for more than a year and had no problems at all (so far) You might want to put a skimmer in too. Make things easier to do maintance. Just a thought!!!
