    why would a 50g tank cost 600? normally you can get them for 25-50 bucks. i must be missing something or was that including the ac? just blow a box fan on the top of the tank..keep it under 84 and you'll be fine.

    the parasites can stay attached for 3-7 days. if copper is at correct dosage you should start seeing improvement shortly after that time. keep in mind the fish still has parasites that have not matured yet and you will not see those for another 4-5 days..so it could take up till another week or so.

    remove the fish treat with copper or hypo,,leave tank fallow for 8 weeks. you can catch fish easily by draining most of the water into plastic trash containers then fill it back up when done.

    for more conclusive results you may want to lower to 1.009. even 1.008 would allow for slight evaporation increases. regarding the rock, most of the tomonts will rupture within 3-28 days and thus die off when no fish host is found. by keeping your main tank fallow of fish for 8 weeks this should...

    you should continue copper treatment for 3 weeks. ensure to use proper test kit to ensure level is maintained. you will be sure to rid main tank of parasite if you keep fallow for 7-8 weeks. 8 weeks preferred. good luck.
