I found one of mine dead and wondered what took him out. do they have enemies? My fish are docile including my blue jawed trigger who wouldn't hurt a fly.

Do you need to protect bulbs from water splash? 4-5inches off water, much brighter without acrylic cover. thanks.

8 bulb T-5 retro fit light system approx 4-5inches off the water. Do I need the acrylic cover? The light seems much brighter without it on. If water should splash the light, will their be much damage done? i.e. wipe off later when the lights are cold

My rock seems to have more/larger holes in it then I remember it having in the past. Could something be widening holes and crevices?

I definetly needed to do something more than the old hose out in front of the house. after a year those socks just wheren't getting that clean any more.

did another test after lights had been on for a couple hours and the ph was approx. 8.0/8.1 how much swing can their be durring the day? P.S. I am currently running a powerhead next to the surface to help airiate(sp) the water.
