I use a MRC skimmer and I like it alot. It is a little expensive, but they also have great customer service on there products.

I would just keep looking in the classifieds until you find a heck of a deal. I found one on a 155 Bowfront AGA RR with all the trimmings for $1000

I have a few of those laying around here from when I bought my tanks. I upgraded to a MRC MR-1. I would suggest going with the coral life at least.
