When I first bought mine someone on here said to go buy some polyfiber from walmart craft department and place in the bottom with the sponge. I have been doing it for six months and --- less bubbles. Great advice. This board is great!

I cut the hose about a half of an inch. I just didn't think I was supposed to have water coming out of the box, that is where I was confused. The skimmer is producing junk but I have tons of bubbles on top of the water. Should I turn down my power head during this time or keep it running?

What media does everyone use in their Fluval canisters? I'm also curious what I should be placing in the drawers.

Anyone else have opinions on this skimmer's bubbles??
