Extra filters sound great but my cleaner has taken care of ick a few times as I have added new fish and had that problem. I love my cleaner, he is the best invert I have added. No ick for 5 months now since my last battle. It has surely saved on treatments and hypo. Just keep an eye on it.

I have a copper band butterfly and alot of corals and polyps, he is fine w/ them. He ate all of my feather dusters though, takes care of small bug problems, they are quick!

my opinion would be to boil and start over, you don't want slime problems from the start. the smell is die off, maybe the buckets need circulation also.

the T-5 HO from Tek w/ individual reflectors is deff they way to go from all choices. For my opinion, I have them and have many soft corals and anemonies that are growing fast! I love them!
