I dont have a picture right now but to describe it better its not spots. The entire top half of the fish has darkened significantly. It looks like the fish just swam through a coal mine.

The top of both my perculas looks "Dirty". The white stripes look normal but the orange is now dusted with black. ANyone know what this could be? It happened pretty suddenly.

I live in Coral Springs Florida and go to a fish store that I have found to be very knowledgable. Its Fish Emporium and they have a tiny room for supplies then all saltwater tanks in back. Great store!

Im going to have to agree with Dave here. I've personally cycled a tank in a day with this method and with no adverse effects. If you have a relationship with your fish store and trust them it works. If you dont, then why even buy fish/LR from them.
