If i had old rocks that had manjos and asptia on them and i boil them, would that get rid of them for good on those rocks or will there be a lingering effect?

fish death in the family, after a week long move. I think there was a lack of o2 in the tank and that was the problem. Now I get to restock my tank. Some of my fish were 2yrs old. I am a lil sad about it.
